After more than a decade of vibrant growth since its establishment in 2002, AMWAY Singapore reached a new milestone in 2016 when it expanded into the heart of Singapore’s business and civic district with the introduction of a brand new shopping concept through the launch of the AMWAY City Shop. The City Shop offers Amway Business Owners (ABOs) a contemporary retail shopping experience with greater accessibility to its top-of-the-line brands and products and Brand Experience Centres and meeting facilities.  

Today, it is a member of the Direct Selling Association of Singapore (DSAS), Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE) and the Health Supplements Industry Association of Singapore. 

AMWAY Singapore is also recognised to have established and applied a Quality Management System for the Supply & Distribution of Amway products to ABOs through the ISO 9001:2008 standards.  Since 2015, we are jointly accredited by DSAS-CASETRUST. Amongst other accolades, we are also a consistent recipient of the Reader’s Digest Trusted Brand Asia & Singapore Gold Awards for Nutrilite and eSpring since 2005. We have also been awarded the Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific Water Filtration Company of the Year for 6 years running for the eSpring water treatment system.

AMWAY today is one of the leading direct selling companies in Singapore and continues to strive for excellence and support the needs of our ABOs, creating more opportunities and forging stronger partnerships.

 

The History of AMWAY Singapore

 

2002

AMWAY started operations in Singapore.

   

2003

AMWAY Singapore joins the Direct Selling Association of Singapore.

   

2005

NUTRILITE and eSpring were awarded the first-ever Reader's Digest Trusted Brand Asia Gold Award for the first time (and for numerous years thereafter). AMWAY Singapore was awarded the Special Recogniton Award by Singapore Tourism Board. This was for its contribution to the tourism industry when it brought in 15,000 top AMWAY Business Owners (ABOs) to Singapore in 2005.

   

2007

AMWAY Singapore celebrated its 5th Anniversary with major events: Convention (over 5,000 ABOs and guests in attendance), Leadership Dinner & Dance, Direct Distributor Seminar in Guangzhou, a NUTRILITE Walk and an Optimal Health Carnival.

   

2008

Launch of the ARTISTRY Beauty Experience (ABE) Centre, where our ABE consultants conduct hair, skin and make-up assessments for ABOs. These personal assessments followed by a detailed diagnosis, provided ABOs with a greater understanding of their skin and hair conditions.

   

2009

The AMWAY Enrichment Fund (AEF) was launched as part of the AMWAY One By One Campaign for Children, in support of enrichment programmes run by the Singapore Children’s Society, impacting more than 4000 children a year.

   

2010

AMWAY receives its first Asia Pacific Best Practices Water Filtration Company of the Year Award for eSpring from Frost and Sullivan (and for every consecutive year thereafter).

   

2011

The NUTRILITE Health Experience (NHE) Centre was officially launched in Singapore where nutrition consultants conduct health screenings for our ABOs.

   

2012

AMWAY Singapore received ISO 9001:2008 accreditation in the supply and distribution of AMWAY products to Amway ABOs.

AMWAY Singapore celebrated its 10th Anniversary with a large-scale product expo and Anniversary Rally at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

   

2013

AMWAY Singapore’s Regional Distribution Centre underwent a facelift and expanded its premises to facilitate smoother business operations and better serve our ABOs. More AMWAY Digital initiatives were rolled out, including mobile and web apps that created additional platforms for ABOs to share about our brands and products, facilitating them in building their business, as well as access engaging and interactive resources on-the-go.

   

2014

AMWAY Singapore celebrates NUTRILITE's 80th Anniversary with Dr Sam Rehnborg at the Anniversary Rally on 10th October where he spoke about NUTRILITE’s leadership in phytonutrient research, breakthroughs and innovations. The celebrations continued with the NUTRILITE Anniversary Carnival on 11th October where Dr Sam flagged off the AMWAY-zing Run & Walkoff the AMWAY-zing Run & Walk.

   

2015

AMWAY Singapore achieved DSAS CASETRUST joint accreditation, a demonstration of its commitment to consumer protection and fair trading practices.

   

2016

AMWAY Singapore expanded into the heart of Singapore’s business and civic district with the launch of its City Shop, offering ABOs a contemporary retail shopping experience and newly revamped Brand Experience Centres.
